This one of a kind second hand tank was upcycled using an intricate south asian embroidery technique called zardozi. The surface of the tank is adorned with an unexpected and playful insect motif in the zardozi embroidery technique. 

Zardozi comes from two Persian words: zar meaning 'gold', and dozi meaning 'sewing'. Zardozi is a type of elaborate metal embroidery on a silk, satin, or velvet fabric base using gold threads.
