Upcycled Warli Hand Blocked Jean

Pre-loved and one-of-a-kind. These vintage jeans have been upcycled using two traditional South Asian techniques - block printing and Kantha embroidery. The block prints are inspired by Warli, an art form that hails from a tribe of the same name in Maharashtra, India, and dates back to as early as the 10th century. Warli motifs are centered on their social life, portraying scenes of hunting, fishing and farming with images of people, trees and animals. Denim patches with hand embroidered stitches add finer detail to the jean. 

Content: 100% Cotton

Care instructions: Machine wash cold with like colors. Suggested to wash by itself the first few times to avoid any crocking of dye. Hang to dry.
